Welcome to the Kernersville Community House
The house, located at 405 Salisbury Street in Kernersville, was built between 1935 and 1937 and is owned by the Town of Kernersville.
This wonderful property is managed by the Kernersville Woman’s Club, a civic organization dedicated to giving back to the local Kernersville community. All proceeds from the rentals of the Kernersville Community House are used to maintain the property itself, fund scholarships for local graduating high school seniors, as well as funding other community projects at the discretion of the Board of the Kernersville Woman’s Club.
The Kernersville Woman’s Club is continuously updating the Kernersville Community House so that it is more usable and more comfortable for gatherings. The home features:

- Kitchen with microwave, oven/range, refrigerator/freezer
- 2 half-bathrooms
- 2 large ceiling fans
- Free WIFI access
- Handicap-accessible ramp
- Plantation shutters

The Kernersville Community House features a 25’ x 28’ meeting room, anchored on each end with fireplaces, a kitchen, and two half-bathrooms. The storage area contains tables and chairs, which renters are welcome to use. The house is perfect for use for events such as small weddings, baby showers, birthday or graduation parties, and club or church meetings.
